Inspired by drummers including Travis Barker, Chad Smith, Taylor Hawkins, Matt Greiner, John Bonham, and Tico Torres himself, Nate developed a style that combines power, feel, and versatility across a wide range of music.

That versatility has led Nate to perform with local bands including Shortbus Fight Kid, Sleepless Bandits, Gentlemen, and Y2Kids. He has also performed with LCBC Church, where his path eventually crossed with Captain Crash members Shawn and Jason.

Joining Captain Crash gives Nate the opportunity to pay homage to one of the drummers who influenced him while performing music he grew up listening to. Behind the kit, he brings his own personality and energy while staying true to the driving rhythm and unmistakable feel that Tico Torres brought to Bon Jovi.
